PB Twix Oatmeal Bars
For the days you need a sweet fix and you need it fast! Your favorite PB Twix flavor in oatmeal bar form with added protein, no dairy and completely gluten free!
Ingredients
- 1 c Oats rolled
- 3 tbsp Coconut Oil melted
- 3/4 c American Dream Nut Butter A Twixed Treat
- 1/3 c Coconut Milk canned
- 60 g PB Powder or PB Protein Powder
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 100 g Chocolate melted
Instructions
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl combine oats and coconut oil.
- Press down into base of loaf pan.
- In the same bowl used, combine peanut butter, coconut milk, maple syrup and powder.
- Once thoroughly mixed, spread over oat base layer in pan.
- Top with melted chocolate.
- Freeze for 2-3 hours before slicing into bars to serve.

What could I use instead of oats? I am grain free.
You can use any type of nut based flour instead of oats for a base (ex almond flour)- you will need to double the amount to compensate for the difference in volume!
