Chocolate Covered Hearts

FYI GRAPES ARE THE NEW STRAWBERRIES. 

Valentine’s Day is officially in less than 30 days and it also lands on a holiday weekend… I feel like that makes 2021 off to a LOVING start no?

Now I just pray that ground hog sees his shadow between now and then. 

In case he doesn’t, I’ll be needing extra love with endless CHOCOLATE COVERED GRAPES HEARTS… because what’s not to LOVE about irresistibly delicious treats full of fruit in heart shape!

Chocolate Covered Hearts
Grapes are the new strawberries! These little hearts are irresistibly delicious treats with a festive Valentine’s Day shape! There’s white and dark chocolate on the outside and fresh grape on the inside. They melt in your mouth on first bite!

Instructions
  1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.
  2. Wash grapes and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Slice each grape in half lengthwise.
  4. Using a toothpick, fasten two halves together to make a heart shape. 
Continue until all grape halves are used.
  5. Add dark chocolate and coconut oil to a medium microwaveable bowl.
  6. Microwave in 30 second intervals until melted, stirring each time.
Dip hearts into the dark chocolate and place on prepared baking sheet.
  7. Chill for 15 minutes.
Melt the white chocolate in a small bowl using the same 30 second process.
  8. Place melted white chocolate into a ziplock bag and squeeze into the corner.
  9. Clip 1/8" off the corner with scissors.
  10. Drizzle melted white chocolate on top of hearts, or alternatively use decorating gel.
  11. Chill another 15 minutes to let the drizzle set.
  12. Serve and enjoy!
