Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp BareOrganics Beet Root Powder
  • 2 c Chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 2 Garlic cloves optional
  • 1/4 cup Tahini
  • 1/4 c Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a food processor.
  • Pulse blend on low speed, and slowly increase it until all ingredients are well mixed.
  • Serve with olive oil, seeds and spices of choice!

Beetroot became more widely consumed when chefs in 19th century France discovered its culinary potential. Betalains are the phytonutrients that give the root its vibrant red pigment that can also be used as a natural dye.
