I sure didn’t MAC-A-ROON choice when I decided to make these. 🍪
FUN FACT, I grew up thinking I hated coconut… because I hated Almond Joy bars.
Apparently to my grade school knowledge that was enough of a correlation I needed to avoid coconut until my mid twenties. 🤣
NOW, I’m pretty nutty about some of it.
I can’t honestly say all of it but most coconut products I’m totally here for.. and coconut is SO GOOD FOR YOU. 👏🏻🌴
Naturally then I have never tried a macaroon… which is different than a “macaron.”
So I decided to plunge on it and make them myself first.
The best part is using Creative Snacks coconut snack mix to expedite the process and magnify the super yummy taste.
