French Vanilla Protein Donuts

Just trying to spread a HOLE 🍩 lot of love this week… in glazed and confused world. 

D O N U T be afraid is what I’m continuously told, but I’m not afraid. That’s actually the one emotion I really never get hung up over.

I’m healthy in every way I possibly can be, I’ve “done it right” as far as living a very balanced, well nourished, fitness orientated lifestyle… so if I get the virus well then it is what it is.

What is tearing me a part mentality is not being able to live my life.. a minimal daily routine, lack of schedule and fewer outlets to turn to daily. I thrive in chaos and being overly busy… and the world is slowing down. 🌎

So to divert my attention, even more so I’m turning to one of my first and foremost forms of therapy.. 

BLENDING AND BAKING MY KITCHEN OFF.

Honestly, I’m not even a donut girl but I’m a cereal girl to the extreme and this soft chewy baked combo is FRENCH-TASTIC.

DONUT MISS OUT ON THIS… what else do you really have going on right now? Jokes.

French Vanilla Protein Donuts
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 F.
  2. Lightly spray a donut baking pan.
  3. Whisk together dry ingredients: protein, flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
  4. Separately add one beaten egg to yogurt.
  5. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, checking every few just to be safe.
  7. Take out when they are mostly cooked but still slightly soft and chewy.
  8. Top with Kays Naturals French Vanilla protein cereal, slightly crumbled and pressed into dough.
  9. Toss back in for 3-5 minutes until donuts are fully baked through!
  10. Tooth pick test if needed. 🙂
