Big question for United Airlines, can my air fryer count as a carry on…
because WE ARE GETTING OUT OF HERE and my version of “fried” is a little bit different than the Nashville way.✌🏻
Countdown has officially begun to all things comfort food, warmer weather and country music.
Fried food is definitely not on my list to do list there but I’m willing to slice and dice through menus as long as that means getting to experience temperatures above 30 degrees… Chicago has been a real treat these days.
Now, if the next few weeks can go by as quick as making CRISPY CINNAMON APPLE SLICES went down, that would be snack-tactic.

- 1 large Apple sliced
- 1/3 c almond flour
- 1 large Egg whisked
- 1 oz Kays Original Protein Pretzels finely crushed
- 2 tbsp Date Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
Ingredients

- Set up three small shallow bowls.
- Add the flour to one bowl, whisked egg to another bowl and the sugar, pretzels and cinnamon to a third bowl- mixed well.
- Dip each apple slice first in the flour, then into the egg, and then into the pretzel mixture. Coat both sides in each bowl well.
- Line up the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer.
- Cook on 350 in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes.
- Open and flip to the other side and cook for another two minutes.
- Drizzle over with yogurt sauce or melted chocolate or nut butter!
