Homemade granola was a twist I didn’t see coming or expect to go so deep into.

PB&J Strawberry Protein Granola
PB&J Granola made in just over 30 minutes! Packed with nutrients, fiber and plant based protein! The perfect snack or topping to any meal!
Ingredients
- 4 c Oats rolled
- 1 cup Mixed Nuts
- 1/2 c Strawberries dried/dehydrated
- 1/2 c SilverFern Brand Protein Powder Vanilla
- 1/3 c Coconut Oil melted
- 1/3 c Date or Coconut Sugar
- 2 tbsp Hemp Hearts optional
- 1/3 c Maple Syrup
- 1/4 c Peanuts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325F and spray a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, stir together oats, strawberries, hemp hearts and nuts.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the protein powder, coconut oil and maple syrup until smooth.
- Pour the protein mixture over the oat mixture in the large bowl.
- Stir until all the oats are coated.
- Distribute the mixture evenly into the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes, stirring often to ensure no burnt pieces.
- Allow the granola to cool completely in the pan without stirring.
- Once it’s cooled completely, add in peanuts.
Notes
Store extras in an airtight container.
