OK major post travel BLUES going on personally, it hasn’t even been a full 24 hours and I am already going BANANAS about being back in Chicago winter.
Don’t get me wrong, it was extremely cold in Nashville. However there wasn’t five feet of snow to cross country ski my dogs through all day everyday.
The positive? It is a holiday week so my inbox will not be as flooded for approximately another day or two when everyone “catches up.”
SOOO I thought why not share a new spin on one of my most beloved creations to mood boost these blues with BLUBS.

- 2 large Bananas ripe and mashed
- 1/4 c American Dream Nut Butter Just Plain Cashew
- 1.5 c almond flour
- 2 tbsp Date Syrup
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
- 2 tbsp Milk of choice
- 1/4 c Blueberries
Ingredients

- Preheat oven to 350F and lightly spray a loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix bananas with date syrup and cashew butter.
- In a large bowl whisk flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix well.
- Add in 1-2 tbsp milk until texture is gooey but still dense.
- Mix in blueberries last.
- Pour batter into the pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick tested clean.
- Sprinkle over with desired toppings!
