Air Fryer Onion Rings are perfectly crispy and free from all the oils of fried foods! Simple ingredients with a egg centered twist!

Onions
sliced into rings
Wet Mix:
1/2
c
almond flour
2/3
c
Almond Milk
1/2
tsp
Paprika
1/2
tsp
Garlic salt
For the Dry Mix:
1
c
Panko
1/2
tsp
Paprika
1/4
tsp
Garlic salt
Instructions
In a medium shallow bowl whisk together the wet ingredients.
In a second medium shallow bowl whisk together the dry ingredients.
Taking each onion ring, one by one dip them into the wet mix then into the dry mix.
Place on wax paper or a baking sheet.
Spray with olive oil to “seal.”
Evenly space apart (do not overcrowd) in Air Fryer basket- you will need to do a few batches in total.
Cook at 400 degrees for about five min then flip.
Cook for an additional five min.
To transform the air fried onion rings into a “egg basket” use a non-stick skillet on medium heat, well sprayed or oiled.
Place rings one by one into the center of the skillet then carefully crack the egg inside of the onion ring.
Cook on low for a few minutes, cover and remove from the heat allowing egg white to stiffened.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper!
Recipe Notes
You can also bake the Onion Rings at 450F for 30-35 minutes!
